Oh, so this is what women's studies is all about...

So I am officially doing university courses... From my own home. I looked through the courses I could take and decided on counseling women, Intro to women's studies, and some other thing I have not yet cracked open. When I decided to do women's studies, I was not aware that I was being sucked into the feminist world. Why cant they just do stuff on the history of women, where they have been, are, and will be going... I understand that the whole idea that the history of women has been non-existing because society has always silenced the women, but come on... Not being able to use past research because it was produced by, and mainly the subjects were men... History cannot be changed, so I guess the point is to make history. I'm not sure I care all that much to be extreme and change the world so that chicks rule the earth. We already do as far are I'm concerned anyway... I just don't feel like we need to be recognized for it in everything. I know that for any minority to be recognized they must go the extreme, but women are in the majority, and to have to prove that we have been hurt so badly by the past is just insane to me. Quiet and subtle change works... Whatever, it has me thinking again anyways...

Just for the record, University is sooooooo much harder than community college.
