the shame...

those of you that know me well know that I have not had a television in my home for over 4 years now. Yes, I live under a rock, and quite enjoy it that way. I have just come back from a friends house in which I sat and stared at the boob tube for a total of 2 hours... 2 hours of prime time tv! My brain will never be the same.

First I was amazed by 2 women being transformed from what others deemed to be ugly to something socially acceptable. It was amazing! Then I had a long conversation with my friend about what I would like to change in my appearance to my myself more socially acceptable.

I then watched 19 and 20 year olds compete to be americas next top modle. I could go on the first show and directly move to the next! The one chick kicked off the modelling show was honest about how she was using modelling to get where she really wanted to be in life. Shit, once again, honesty is socially unacceptable.

Guess it would take more than a make over for me to win the modelling show...
